We are releasing the third stable version of the 0.6 family: 0.6.2.

This release fixes many bugs like:

• A bug in Menu, now it lets you add/edit/delete menu(items)!
• Blog xmlrpc is ready (you need to download Blog-xmlrpc) and works!
• Javascript fixes (for Safari and _maybe_ for IE)
• Postgresql rand function works!
• Should let you use the 'id' attributes in your (x)HTML tags and use flash!
• And many other bugs!

We are very happy to announce the first stable version of Jaws 0.6.0 that fixes many bugs users reported!

This is the first stable version of the 0.6 branch, next stable versions will be numbered under 0.6.x (0.6.0, 0.6.1, 0.6.2, etc..) and now trunk is pre-0.7.

What is new in Jaws 0.6.0

• Language support for 6 languages: English, Spanish, Deutsch (a bit incomplete), Dansk, Japanese and Romanian!
• Usage of a new database abstraction layer called MDB2 and as of now we use 3 DB Drivers from it: MySQL, MySQLi, and PostgreSQL!
  Kudos to all the maintainers of MDB2, specially Lukas that helped us countless times
• Ajax features!
• A nice WYSIWYG/DHTML Editor!
• Antispam tools: a bayesian filter, captchas, delete duplicated messages, etc!
• Uses less memory than 0.5 versions!
• Support for nice urls!, like: blog/show/MyPost instead of gadget=Blog&action...

We are happy to announce the third beta of Jaws 0.6.0, this is a release that fixes many bugs users reported in beta2 and includes a nice feature for editing entries, go and find it!

As usual, we provide 3 *big* tar.gz files (jaws-blog-system, jaws-core and jaws-complete) and also the .tar.gz files for each gadget/theme.

• jaws-core: Include the core, core gadgets (for Admin) and two gadgets (Menu and Skeleton) and a default theme.
• jaws-blog-system: include the jaws-core and some extra gadgets (Banner, Blog, Chatbox, FileBrowser, Friends, Glossary, Menu, Phoo, Preferences, Search, ServerTime, StaticPage, Visitcounter, Weather, Webcam) and just one theme.
• jaws-complete: include jaws-core, _all_ gadgets and _all_ themes.

NOTE: Users who upgraded (from 0.5.x) or installed the beta1/beta2, need to reinstall again and re-upgrade again (from their jaws 0.5.x database, not 0.6.0beta1 database), we did some changes in the DB. Sorry for this but well.. that's why we are releasing it as a beta .
