Jaws 0.6.0 - First beta released

We are happy to announce the first beta of Jaws 0.6.0 (First of the Gang to Die).

This release is divided in 3 sections: jaws-core, gadgets and themes. It means that you need to download jaws-core to use gadgets, however the jaws-core doesn't have any gadgets (except those that are core_gadgets and Skeleton) or themes. So for example, if you want to use Blog, you need to download the .tar.gz and unpack it in the gadgets/ directory.

This situation (divide in 3 sections) will be a standard in Jaws for 2 reasons:

• Have small .tar.gzs (if we include the core, all gadgets and themes the size will be 5~6M.
• Have developers working only in gadgets and others working only in the core (or both).

At the Novell Forge page you can download the core.

You can find themes and gadgets in the jaws-0.6.0beta1 section we have in Novell Forge.

We will decide in this week when to release the final 0.6.0, and the final date depends on how many bugs we get this week, if we get no bugs we will consider it 100% stable!.
